Congrats Choristers
During the week of June 26-July 2nd, three of our cathedral choristers attended the Royal School of Church Music (America) Dallas Boys Course. During the course of the week they prepared music by Herbert Howells, Lili Boulanger, Johann Sebastian Bach, Moses Hogan, and more with over 6 hours of rehearsal per day. The boys sang two services of choral evensong including one at the St. Mark’s School and one at Church of the Incarnation and concluded the week by singing Eucharist at St. Michael and All Angels Church. Besides the hard work, the boys had a lot of fun with group activities and outings. They were hosted in the dorms at Southern Methodist University. I am extremely proud of Henry & George Herrin and Jaxon Sexton for their hard work and congratulate them on their fine singing. We are blessed to have their voices singing regularly in our services! Congrats boys!
